Day 1 of the 2024 Founders Cup is in the books!
The tournament opened with the Saint John Rapids [NB] (1-0) upending the Victoria Shamrocks [BC] (0-1) by the score of 13-12. Nick Daponte (6G) and Noah Webster (6A) led the charge for the Rapids.
The late game had the Mountainview Mavericks [AB] (1-0) down the Nova Scotia Privateers (0-1) 15-5. Isaac Tisdale (3G, 2A) and Hayden Sutherland (1G, 4A) were top scorers for the Mavericks.
